About this product

This faucet mat is made from 100% silicone and comes in three lengths (14.6, 17.7 and 24 inches, all 5.5 inches deep) and four colors: beige, black, gray and light gray. A 5° slope sends water toward the basin instead of letting it pool or soak into the countertop.

The faucet hole is cuttable, so you can trim it to fit your faucet base. The mat also works as a small shelf in the kitchen or bathroom for a sponge, dish soap, mug, toothbrush or hand sanitizer.

Size and fit

Sizes: 14.6 x 5.5 in, 17.7 x 5.5 in and 24 x 5.5 in. It needs a fully flat area behind the faucet. It is not suitable for curved-rim sinks, side sinks, round sinks or thick faucet bases. Cutting the mat takes some care, so it is easiest to choose a sink area with no obstacles.

Why you'll love it

A silicone mat that sits behind the faucet, catches splashes and drains the water back into the sink, so the counter stays dry.

Light gray silicone faucet mat, 14.6" x 5.5"
  1. Three lengths

Choose 14.6, 17.7 or 24 inches to match the clear space behind your faucet. The 24-inch size is longer than a standard 14-inch mat.

  2. 5° slope drainage

Water runs back into the sink, so there are fewer puddles and water spots around the faucet.

  3. 100% silicone

Soft, reusable and easy to rinse, with no fabric to stay damp. It will not scratch utensils.

  4. Cuttable faucet hole

Trim the opening to your faucet so the mat sits snug and water does not collect around the cutout.

Step by step

How to install

  1. Measure

Check that you have a clear, flat area around the faucet that matches the length you chose, free of built-in filters or soap dispensers.

  2. Fit

Trim the faucet hole to your faucet base if needed. If there is a soap dispenser, you can cut a few slits in the back of the mat to go around it.

  3. Place

Lay the mat flat behind the sink with the slope facing the basin.

  4. Clean

Rinse or wipe the mat after use and let it dry.

Questions

Questions, answered

Which size should I choose?

Measure the clear, flat area behind your faucet and pick the length that fits: 14.6, 17.7 or 24 inches. All are 5.5 inches deep.

Will it fit my sink?

It fits flat, straight sink edges with a clear area around the faucet. It is not suitable for curved-rim, side or round sinks, or for thick faucet bases.

Can I cut the faucet hole?

Yes. The hole is cuttable so you can fit it to your faucet. Cut slowly and a little at a time, since a hole that is too large can let water collect around the faucet.

What if I have a soap dispenser or built-in filter?

Keep the area around the faucet clear of filters where you can. For a soap dispenser, you can cut a few slits in the back of the mat to go around it, but this takes care.

How does the water drain?

The mat has a 5° slope, so water runs off the mat and back into the sink.

How do I clean it?

It is made of silicone, so rinse or wipe it clean and let it air dry.
